Night of the Witches (1970)
If you stumble across "Night of the Witches" expecting some kind of lost cinematic masterpiece from the golden age of exploitation, you are in for a profoundly miserable time. This 1970 low-budget mess crawls along with all the grace and momentum of a drunk badger dragging itself through wet cement. The entire premise hinges on a sleazy fugitive who thinks he can pull off a quick scam against a secluded coastal coven of actual witches, completely ignoring the glaring reality that dealing with supernatural entities might require more leverage than petty-cash extortion.

Watching this thing feels less like experiencing a narrative and more like suffering through a grueling endurance test staged by a bunch of amateurs who clearly spent most of their meager budget on cheap props and bad lighting. The acting hits that excruciating sweet spot of flat, wooden line deliveries and overacted tantrums that make you question why anyone involved bothered getting out of bed in the morning. Nothing makes sense, the pacing drags to a dead halt every few minutes, and you are left staring at murky, washed-out frames, wondering how such a pointless artifact ever got recorded on physical film. It is a plodding, incoherent slog that wastes every single minute of its runtime, offering zero thrills, zero atmosphere, and zero reasons for any sane person to bother watching it.

Dr. Frankenstein on Campus (1970)
If you decide to sit through "Dr. Frankenstein on Campus" hoping for a trashy, entertaining blast of 1970s campus counterculture horror, prepare to have your soul slowly ground into dust. This movie stumbles around like a lobotomized zombie, pretending to be a biting satire on higher education while actually just being a tedious, directionless slog of amateur filmmaking. The plot limps along following some smug academic wannabe who thinks mixing cheap lab chemicals and university politics is going to revolutionize science, completely disregarding the fact that the production itself lacks even a single original pulse.

Watching this disaster feels like an endurance trial engineered by incompetent film students who blew their entire budget on bad lighting rigs and scratchy audio equipment. The performances hit that painful valley of monotone line readings and absurdly overacted outbursts that make you want to scream at the empty chairs around you. Nothing in this narrative holds together; the pacing plummets into total inertia every ten minutes, and you are left staring blankly at washed-out, muddy frames, wondering how this pointless trash ever saw the light of a projector. It is an utterly miserable, hollow waste of time that delivers no scares, no laughs, and absolutely zero reasons for anyone with a working brain to press play.
