Die! Die! My Darling! (1965)
American Patricia Carroll arrives in London to marry her British fiancé, Alan Glentower. Before their wedding, Patricia decides to visit Mrs. Trefoile, the mother of her deceased former fiancé, Stephen. Trefoile lives in a secluded house on the edge of an English village. She is fanatically religious and blames Patricia for her son’s death. What follows is a tense and chilling confrontation between the two women, with unexpected twists and dark secrets.
Tallulah Bankhead delivers a captivating performance as Mrs. Trefoile, and the film keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. If you enjoy psychological horror and suspense, “Die! Die! My Darling!” is worth watching.
